Information for participants

If you are interested to attend CARME in ASSOS, or even if you are interested but not 100% sure to come, please tell us by email before 31 March 2011. Then, for those sure to come, please submit before 8 July a one-page abstract on a topic covered by the meeting. Confirmation of participation will be given by 15 July and you will continue to be informed regularly after that date about logistical arrangements. For those that arrive at Istanbul airport before 15:30 on 30 September, transport will be provided to Assos, otherwise you will have to make your own way there (it is 7 hours by road from Istanbul, and 5 hours from Izmir). Transport back to the airport will arrive at approximately 14:00 on 5 October, so if you are flying out please make a reservation to depart after 16:00.

You may want to add some days before or after the meeting to visit Istanbul or other parts of Turkey – the organizing committee can help you with advice in this regard.
